It was during 2001 that Rory and Wendy Alec of the God channel had a vision of gathering the saints together to pray and to worship, bearing in mind that Jean Darnall the American evangelist and bible teacher had prophesied many years earlier - had had a vision of revival for the UK and the whole of Europe and a worldwide revival which would start from the north - which would start from Scotland, and so they convened a meeting in Edinburgh, Scotland, for October 2001 and the songs were born out of this time of preparation and intercession.
It is interesting that during the preparations on God channel for this conference in 2001, the infamous event happened on the 11th of September when the twin towers were destroyed by terrorists - and this album was released in 2006 as a call to prayer, a call to overcome, to become the people of God who will be a holy worshiping people, who will help to usher in the kingdom of God, on earth, to defeat every evil thing. Amen.
This first song,
"Holy Place", is a prayer - it is a cry to God to bring us closer to his heart, in to the holiest of all.
One scripture that patterns this is Hebrews 6, where God bids us come, with a true heart, with full assurance of faith - and there is cleansing provided through the washing of water and the word, and the blood of Jesus, the blood of the everlasting covenant.

This second song,
"Come back to God", was written in 2001 on the train from Dundee to Edinburgh for the Braveheart conference, where I went to a few meetings and stayed overnight - Nancy having to stay in Dundee for respite care - and I had recently heard on the God channel excerpts from a prophecy from Bogota, Columbia, from a man who had been teaching Scotland, perhaps a few years earlier and had a prophecy for Scotland which he likened to the prodigal son.
Now, I had retained some of that prophecy and read it, and as I mused on it the words came, and it is a prayer for Scotland for the land to turn back to God - a land that was once given so much and was a leader among the nations, had an inheritance and perhaps like other peoples, had forgotten God in later generations and squandered the resources and turned to other things, idols, things of the world, and it was a prayer from the heart.

This third song
"Brave Heart of Scotland" there is imagery of Braveheart or William Wallace here the Scottish patriot and the conference in Edinburgh has been entitled Braveheart and I think it was a prophetic rallying call for the people of god to rise up as a company against oppression, against the enemy - in this case not the invading English the oppressing army of the English nation at that time, but the forces of darkness. And so the imagery is here, the nation rising up, not as a physical army, but as a spiritual army with the weapons of praise and song and holiness of life and a repetitive theme is for Christ and his covenant which was the rallying call of the covenanters in the 1600s when Scotland was a great nation spiritually and was seeking to retain its spiritual purity and its adherence to the word of god and the covenant of god and not accepting something enforced which was not scriptural through ruling monarchs and so forth - and so it is a call for gods covenant to be known and appreciated and lived.

This forth song
"Braveheart" again brings in the Braveheart theme, but makes an illusion to the bravery of heart that the champions of faith had in the past through the covenant of god were made strong and the reference to keeping our eyes on god alone, like Joshua, will win, Joshua who knew the covenant of god and was commanded to meditate on the law of god day and night and to be strong and of good courage and the giants of the land were disposed under his leadership. Also claiming the covenant of god will disposes the giants like David of old who with his men killed Goliath and his 4 sons that through the covenant of god he became great, the kingdom was extended and god gave them, because of their righteousness, boldness and courage, and it is a call for us to rise up in that same spirit of the lord to win every battle. Amen.

This final song,
"Send Revival", was written earlier in the 1990s and is based on psalm 85, and it contains many of the words from that psalm, where the psalmist is crying out for god to revive his people that glory may dwell in the land. And this is a wonderful thought - if glory is the manifest presence of the lord, the strong presence of the lord, it is a wonderful thing and it will prepare us for the coming of the lord in the rapture. The psalm also refers and reminds us of gods great mercy that he will forgive every sin and that he is looking down from above on his people, tenderly, earnestly almost, longing for us to be all that we can be, through his son Jesus Christ. Amen.
